A 90 cm round moon, three-dimensional under a glancing light.
The shop’s centrepiece — a 90 cm circular canvas painted as a moon you
could almost touch. Heavy-body acrylic builds the surface up into actual
relief; the craters cast shadows that move with the room’s light through
the day. The palette is restricted to a warm greyscale, with the circle
itself silhouetted against the wall it hangs on. It rewards installation
on a clean wall where it can be the only thing.
